Our friends and partners in Austria

The Lichtenegg section from Lower Austria has been actively supporting Nepalhilfe Beilngries in its work since 2001. Through charity events, bazaars and other activities, donations in the six-figure range have been generated over the years and many projects have been realised in cooperation with our Austrian friends. The founding members of Nepalhilfe Beilngries – Lichtenegg: Martin Stix, Johannes Breitfellner, Martin Schuh, Michael Lechner and Erwin Stix explain: ‘After a trekking tour, the four of us decided to help children in Nepal. We made contact with Nepalhilfe Beilngries in Bavaria via the well-known mountaineer Hans Kammerlander. In the meantime, many people from Lichtenegg have agreed to support us in our work. For more than 20 years now, we have been working closely with our like-minded friends in Germany for the benefit of the needy in Nepal. An absolute win-win situation.
