Without them, nothing would work and no project could be realised. The donations could not get to where they are most urgently needed. Our local team in Kathmandu is the most important building block for the realisation of our projects in Nepal. That is why we are happy to have a powerful small team there, which works closely with us to develop and implement the project plans for the future.

Sunil Shresta was our man on the ground for almost 30 years. Im Juli 2025 ging er jedoch mit 65 Jahren in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand.

We were able to win over our long-standing friend Hari Adhikari to take over the running of our office on the ground. He is a graduate in administrative management and has gained a great deal of experience in his previous role as head of administration at Siddhi Memorial Hospital in Bhaktapur and in the same position at the spinal clinic in Dhulikel, working with both government agencies and international organisations. He is a real stroke of luck for us and a worthy successor to our much-loved Sunil Shresta.

Gupta Bandahari ist seit 2020 im Büro in Kathmandu als Buchhalter und Projektprüfer tätig. He is responsible for the correct receipt of invoices and accounts, an increasingly important part of our work in Nepal. Together with Hari Adhikari, he is the backbone of our projects in Nepal.

Sakar Lamichhane has also been working for Nepalhilfe Kathmandu since 2020 as a driver and facility manager He takes care of the many small tasks that arise in an office and without which an office community would not be able to function.
