Gyan Mandir Higher Secondary School -Melchaur-Sindhupalchok

The first new school building was built in Melchaur in 2013.

In 2014, an extension and the addition of another floor to the existing building were added to accommodate the more than 300 students. However, these were all destroyed by the 2015 earthquake.

By 2020, the entire school had been rebuilt and in 2022, a teacher house was completed very close to the school, in which 6 teachers now live.

In 2023, the number of students exceeded 400, which is why grades 11 and 12 had to be taught in a combined form. The application to expand the classes was implemented in 2024 and the school was expanded to include four additional classrooms. These will be completed by the beginning of 2025.
