The NHB had been planning to expand the Khaireni School, not far from the city of Phokara, for many years. In 2023, the construction of a classroom building with 8 rooms could finally begin. In particular, the ‘upper school’ years 11 and 12 urgently need new rooms to serve as physics and chemistry laboratories, as well as a computer room and other functional rooms. This will also create space for new classrooms, which are currently being used as function rooms.

The final coat of paint was applied in December 2024, so that the school can be officially handed over when the NHB delegation visits in March 2025.
