Sangachok handicapped class – Sindhupalchok
For many years, Sangachok has been home to Nepalhilfe Beilngries’ largest school with almost 1000 pupils. This was completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquake and subsequently rebuilt by 2019.
There is also a class with 12 mentally and physically disabled pupils attached to the school. Now it was time to provide better accommodation for the classroom in an adjacent building. Since the beginning of 2025, more than €25,000 has therefore been invested in renovating the rooms and improving the equipment, as well as in the purchase of a new playground and toilet facilities.
Michaela and Michi Rebele, as delegates of Nepalhilfe Beilngries, inaugurated the new premises and the playground on the occasion of their project trip in May 2025. Now even more children from other villages can be admitted to this facility in the near future.
