A new water pipe for Lapse – Sindhupalchok

The small village of Lapse has been a beneficiary of the Nepalhilfe Beilngries for a long time. It was the second village after Kadambas where a school was built. Located 200 metres below Kadambas, the youngest pupils in grades 1-3 have enjoyed a short way to school since 1997. Now the dilapidated water pipe in the village has been completely renewed with the financial support of the Nepalhilfe Beilngries. In addition, new water points have been built. During a visit to the site in February 2011, 2nd chairman Manfred Lindner and his son Thomas, as well as Sunil Shresta and Shyam Pandit, were able to see for themselves how well the water pipe works. A great relief for the village, which could be achieved with relatively little financial resources.
