The Nepalhilfe Beilngries can look back on 31 years (as of August 2023) of social commitment in Nepal. With your support, the original seedling has grown into a strong tree of help that has offered support and protection to many people in need. Over the years, the trunk, which has become The priority given to education has given rise to many new branches. Health, hygiene, education and care are some of them.

Balachandra Secondary School – Ryale – Kavre District (2013/2021)

The very impressive Ryale School was built in just under 18 months in 2013, about 2 hours south of Kathmandu, and can accommodate more than 300 students.

New home for the Dalit family

The new house for the eight-member Dalit family was handed over at the end of July 2020 in the presence of the mayor, Shyam Pandit and Hari Adhikari.

Ramdev Basic School – Tanjakot (Humla)

After almost two years of construction, the school in Tanjakot in Humla, in the far west of Nepal, was officially opened on 1 April 2024. 360 schoolchildren now have a new school in one of the most remote areas of Nepal.

Chharka / Dolpo solarhouse

Since the completion of the passive solar house in September 2023, the five-month school closures in the winter from November to March due to low temperatures of up to -25 degrees will be a thing of the past. Pupils will now be able to attend school for 10 months.

Madhyabindu District Hospital

Construction of the 100-bed hospital in the district of Navalpur, with a catchment area of over 400,000 inhabitants, has been ongoing with interruptions since 2019. With substantial financial support from the NHB, it is now scheduled to open in 2025.

Shree Marshyangdi Basic School, Khahare

The children are eagerly awaiting the completion of their new primary school in the village of Khahare, as the old school was badly damaged in the 2015 earthquake. The 145 pupils should be able to move into their new school in autumn 2024.

Bushlung Healthpost, Sindhupalchok

Since the end of 2023, another health centre has been under construction in the village of Bushlung in the Chautara district of Sindhupalchok, which is scheduled to open in 2024. More than 1500 people will then have a medical centre close to them. The health centre will be handed over as planned in October 2024.

Bahunepati, Jalapadevi Secondary School

Since the end of 2023, Bahunepati’s secondary school has been rebuilt by NHB, after the 2015 earthquake had severely damaged the school and actually rendered it unusable. Nevertheless, classes continued to be held there. In September 2024, the work was completed and the students were able to return to their school.

Khaireni Secondary School – Tanahun (2023)

In December 2023, work began on the expansion of the Khaireni School near Phokara. The school, with 43 teachers and more than 1100 students from pre-school to grade 12, is bursting at the seams and urgently needs new rooms.
