Madhyabindu District Hospital – Kawasoti/Terai

Construction work has been ongoing with interruptions since 2017 at the 100-bed hospital in the district of Navalpur, which has a catchment area of over 400,000 inhabitants. The Nepalhilfe has invested more than 1.3 million euros in two of the four storeys.Mehr als 1,3 Mio. Euro hat die Nepalhilfe für zwei der 4 Geschosse investieret. The hospital was inaugurated and put into operation on 12 March 2025, with great participation from the population. A milestone for the entire region.

Deuter donates electric bus to home for disabled people

A heartfelt wish of the home for disabled people in Lhubu came true in May 2025. The purchase of an electric bus to pick up disabled people, all of whom live in the local area.

Selang Healthpost, Sindhupalchok

Since mid-2024, the new Healthpost has been under construction in the village of Selang to provide basic medical care for more than 1,000 people

Shree Marshyangdi Basic School, Khahare-Tanahun

A great day for the pupils and the people of Kahare, when the small primary school was finally opened in a ceremony on 11 March 2025.

Balachandra Secondary School – second building inaugurated

On 15 March, the extension to the school was officially handed over by board member Manfred Lindner and a delegation from the NHB.

Khaireni Secondary School – Tanahun

In December 2023, work began on the expansion of the Khaireni School near Phokara. The school, which has 43 teachers and more than 1100 students from preschool to 12th grade, is bursting at the seams and urgently needs new rooms.

Gyan Mandir Higher Secondary School -Melchaur-Sindhupalchok

The school in Melchaur was expanded several times and finally completely rebuilt after the earthquake of 2015, including a teacher’s house in 2022.
