DOCS Orphanhage

The children’s home run by founder Lila Bandahari, which looks after 35 orphans, needs financial support to survive. For many years, the NHB has been providing this support, which we have often seen is very well invested.

Blind hostel Lichtenegg / Chautara

During a visit to Chautara in 2010, it was decided to improve the situation of the blind students there who were attending a regular school and were housed in a very poor house near the school.

Siddhi Shaligram Briddh Ashram senior citizen home

The Siddhi Shaligram Briddh senior citizen home, right next to the Siddhi Memorial Hospital in Bhaktapur, was fully financed by the NHB and inaugurated in 2005.

Lhubu Disabled Daycare Center

People with disabilities have a hard time, but in a third world country it is especially hard! We have made it our mission to make this fate a little easier by building a day care centre for disabled people in Lhubu.

Shaligram Bal Griha – our orphanage

The core project of NHB since 2001, the Shaligram Bal Griha children’s home in Lhubu. Up to 38 orphans and children with one parent, aged 4-18, receive adequate schooling here for their future lives.

New home for the Dalit family

The new house for the eight-member Dalit family was handed over at the end of July 2020 in the presence of the mayor, Shyam Pandit and Hari Adhikari.

A new water pipe for Lapse – Sindhupalchok

The small village of Lapse has been a beneficiary of the Nepalhilfe Beilngries for a long time. It was the second village after Kadambas where a school was built. Now the dilapidated water pipe in the village has been completely renewed with the financial support of the Nepalhilfe Beilngries.

15 new water taps for Ratanpur / Tanahun Distrikt

There is enough water in Nepal, but access to it is often difficult and so it happens again and again that water pipes in villages need to be replaced and new water points built. We’ll take care of that too!
