The small village of Mahabir urgently needed a new primary school for around 120 pupils in grades 1 to 4. The old school was on the verge of collapse, so the NHB approved the construction of a new building within a very short time, and construction began very promptly.

Construction work on the small school in Mahabir began in early 2022. Together with local partners, the school, with its four classrooms, was completed within a year and the schoolyard was paved so that the playground no longer sinks into mud and mire during the rainy season.
