Shree Bandevi Secondary School – Chautara-2015-2019 (Sindupalchok)

In November 2008, construction began on the 10-class school in the district capital of Chautara. It was inaugurated in 2010 and, with over 400 students and 18 teachers, is an important part of the school system in the small town of Chautara. During the 2015 earthquake, the school was significantly damaged and one part of the building was completely destroyed. The damaged part of the building had to be completely gutted and the pillars reinforced. Finally, after a good two years of renovation, it was able to reopen in 2019.
