Located near the first school in Kadambas, another primary school was built in the village of Chilaune in 2000 to spare the youngest students the long journey to school. However, the four classrooms for around 120 students were severely damaged in the 2015 earthquake, so a new building was constructed in 2019.
On 15 March, the extension to the school was officially handed over by board member Manfred Lindner and a delegation from the NHB.
